The SFS Rowing Board (the Board) acknowledges the lack of diversity and history of white privilege that has been tied to the sport of rowing. The Board denounces racial injustice and will strive to make equity an essential value of the SFS rowing community. The Board further commits to working towards creating an environment where race is neither a barrier to participation on the team, nor a cause of disparate treatment among team members.
